On November 21, 2025, Carlton T. Mayers II, Esq. joined Families United at Roots 101 African American Museum for a community forum on accountability and policy reform in Louisville, KY. Alongside Bianca Austin (Co-founder of Families United and Breonna Taylor's aunt), former KY State Representative Attica Scott, and Louisville, KY Inspector General Ed Harness, Mayers helped highlight the work of the Consent Decree Coalition and shared actionable strategies for strengthening oversight, transparency, and equitable policy change.
